About Craig

Craig has spent most of his adult life contributing his time and energy to the Liberal Party of Canada.

At the provincial level, Craig has been President of the Liberal Party of Canada in British Columbia since 2007, the position for which he is seeking your support for re-election. Craig also served as LPCBC Communications Chair in the 1990’s.

At the riding level, Craig served as President of the Vancouver Quadra Electoral District Association from 2004 – 2007, and served prior to that as Vice President, Communications Chair, Policy Chair and Youth Chair.

At the national level, Craig currently sits as BC’s representative on the LPC Board of Directors. Craig also sat on the National Executive as the Young Liberals of Canada National Policy Chair from 1994 – 1997.

At the youth level, in addition to serving as YLC Policy Chair, Craig served as YLCBC Policy Chair and on the UBCYL executive in the 1990’s.

Craig has also worked on countless campaigns from knocking on doors to working as a riding Campaign Manager and in Central Campaign.

In addition to contributing his time to the Liberal Party, Craig is active in his community, serving as a Director with the Children’s Arts Umbrella Association and as Honorary Solicitor for the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club.

Craig is a Partner with the national law firm of Heenan Blaikie LLP. He lives in North Vancouver with his wife, Maureen, and their two young daughters.
